Monday 26th February 2007: Great to see all our news reported on the
Major Websites
|
|
Colin Farquharson who reports on all the golf news around the
country has sent me this message. I discovered that Dr Maureen
Richmond is a member of Royal Liverpool Golf Club at Hoylake, no
less!
One of the first Scottish ladies championships I covered was at
Nairn in 1974 when Maureen Walker won just about every
trophy that was a-going in the qualifying and then lost before the
final in which Dr Aileen Wilson (Haggs Castle) beat
Kathleen Lackie at the 22nd. ---- Thanks for the info Colin

Sunday 3rd February 2007:- A few thanks from Anne Robinson
|
| Thank you all so much for the
get well card. It really lifted my spirits and made me smile and
also to look forward to when I might have a golf club in my hand
again. I should be hitting it straight down the middle with my
restricted swing (a first for everything!). My broken collarbone, ribs,
teeth, bruising and concussion are all taking time so daytime TV golf
is a big hit with me also this is my first time back on a computer so my
brain trauma must be improving. I hope you are managing out on the
course in the drier weather and I hope to see you at RLCGC in the
not too distant future. |
